HOBOKEN AND WEEHAWKEN -- Two years ago, we reported that Hoboken developer Mark Settembre was able to find a small corner of land that the city of Hoboken for some reason neglected to buy when the city planned to put a park between the Willow and Park avenue bridges, on the Hoboken/Weehawken border.

Settembre bought the land and began erecting an unusually shaped dream house. It's got Manhattan views, but it's also flanked by traffic on the bridges. However, someday, he'll be overlooking a new park.

Recently, the Reporter chain's magazine PALISADE took a look inside the home and published photos for your enjoyment. What's it like to live on the border, near the water?

Click the new Palisade -- which is also distributed to thousands of homes in our region -- and take a look inside!
