The reason I am writing is I have been living in West New York for about 12 years and just recently this new neighbor moved onto Jackson Street, and they have a big dog that they leave out morning, noon and night and I call the West New York police. They come and tell them to bring in the dog at night because that dog is disturbing the peace at night.
At first I walked over by their home to see where they live so when this dog is outside, I know where to send the police. I even sent them four letters explaining to them that their dog needs to be inside at night and not distrubing the peace at night.
My bedroom window is facing the back of the yard where this dog lives. So this is why I am forced to write this letter to the Hudson Reporter and just maybe this family who owns the dog will bring it inside at night. I might even be forced to take this family to court for disturbing the peace. I do not want to take that path in handling this ongoing problem. So I am hoping that they see this letter.
