20/20 Hindsight
Never lose your way back to where you started—your parking spot, your hotel, your campsite, or anyplace else on Earth—with the Bushnell BackTrack GPS ($70). This “personal location finder” uses both GPS technology and a digital compass to pinpoint up to three saved locations, and then it guides the user back to them with 360-degree directional arrows on its circular, backlit display. Distance to the destination, in yards/miles or meters/kilometers, also is shown. Two AAA batteries will power the BackTrack for more than 1,000 minutes, with an auto shut-off feature that kicks in after 10 minutes.
